都内在住。幼少期をサンフランシスコ湾を遠くに臨む家で過ごす。東京外国語大学で英語学を、同大学院で通訳・翻訳を学んだのち、証券会社に就職。今も続く友人関係に恵まれるも、ブルームバーグ端末の取引データよりも画面右上に出てくる日替わりの名言に心動かされることに気づき、軌道修正を考える。ロンドン芸術大学（UAL）London College of Communicationでグラフィックデザインを学んだ後、中垣デザイン事務所にエディトリアルデザイナーとして勤務。現在は放送番組の制作と一児の子育ての傍ら「旧姓の氏名」をめぐる参加型プロジェクトを進行中。
Based in Tokyo. My earliest memories are from San Francisco, where I lived for six years in a house overlooking San Francisco bay. I studied English linguistics at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and translation and interpreting at its graduate school before joining a securities firm in Tokyo. While blessing me with friendships that continue to this day, the job turned out to be a big mistake for me vocation-wise, and I changed course to study graphic design at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. After returning to Japan, I worked as an editorial designer at Nakagaki Design Office. I currently make my work alongside a career in broadcast production and raising a young child with my data scientist husband. My latest project involves former names (maiden names) — the surnames most married couples in Japan give up on one side.
