About

ある日の雨水、使われなくなった名前、封筒の内側。「身体と環境のあいだ」という視点から、見過ごされてきたもの、消えゆくものに手触りのある形を与える活動をしています。
Rainwater from a particular day, names no longer in use, the insides of envelopes. Working in the space between body and environment, I give tangible form to things that are overlooked or quietly disappearing.

Based in Tokyo. I studied English linguistics at Tokyo University of Foreign Studies and translation and interpreting at its graduate school, before completing a postgraduate diploma in graphic design at London College of Communication, University of the Arts London. After returning to Japan, I worked as a designer at Nakagaki Design Office. I currently make my work alongside a career in broadcast production and raising a young child. In 2027, I will present a participatory project around former names (maiden names) — the surnames most married couples in Japan give up on one side.
