同じ雨は二度と降らない。
本作は、友人のアーティストが企画した闇市への参加をきっかけに、
雨を「資源」や「量」ではなく、特定の日に起きた一回性の出来事として捉え直すことから始まった。
屋上で採集した雨水を、降った日ごとにろ過・煮沸し、ラベルを付けてびん詰めする。
二度と繰り返すことのない雨は、受け取る人の生きた日々と重なり、そのかけがえのなさを浮き彫りにする。
We take rain for granted, yet no two moments of rain are ever the same.
This project began after I was invited to participate in a black market organized by a fellow artist. Rather than treating rain as a resource or a measurable quantity, this work reframes it as a one-time event tied to a specific day.
Rainwater collected on a rooftop was filtered, boiled, bottled, and labeled by date.
The water, marking a unique moment in time, is a reminder of our own uniqueness.
